For a provisional Keeper
The first reference leaves issued with a provisional sealbook.
A provisional sealbook is the document you carry through Keeper life. It identifies you across Accord institutions and gathers the certified records that belong to you: license state, current custody, travel endorsements, account entries, notices, and the running history of your own recorded activity.
The sealbook
Think of the sealbook as part passport and part official logbook. Its seal identifies you to Registry, Accord, route, market, and other recognized institutions; its certified leaves collect the records those institutions need to recognize wherever you go.
Your private Keeper log is the chronological side of that record. Recorded work, travel, care, purchases, settlements, custody changes, and other completed outcomes can leave entries there. The sealbook travels with you, so those records remain available when you move between towns.
Creature records and custody
Every registered Fenborn has its own persistent record. Health, Stamina, Ether, Satiety, Currents, conditions, training, relationship state, provenance, and life history belong to that creature rather than to the Keeper caring for it.
Your sealbook records which creatures are currently in your custody. If custody later changes, the new Keeper is recorded while the creature keeps the same provenance and life-history trail.
Reading a posting
A public posting tells you what you need before you commit: where the work is, what it costs, how long it takes, what qualification it requires, and what it pays or awards when completed.
`Fieldcraft 3` means your Keeper Fieldcraft must be level 3 before you can take that posting. Fieldcraft rises by earning Fieldcraft XP from Fieldcraft postings. The same pattern applies to the other Keeper disciplines.
Commitments and time
Journeys, work, Rest, clinic care, training, and other timed commitments continue until their recorded completion time unless they are cancelled under the terms shown when they began.
Current commitments are kept together so you can see what is still underway and whether you or a creature are already committed elsewhere. Completed outcomes remain in your Keeper log.
Your current town
Your Keeper record carries your current town or an active Journey. The buildings in that town are where local work, care, trade, records, games, and specialist services are handled.
Moving between towns uses a posted route. The route states its fare and scheduled duration before departure.
