Posted time & commitments
Registry public notice · adopted by wayhouses, employers, schools, and sanctuaries
Once a route, shift, course, or recorded care interval is accepted, its posted duration continues whether or not the Keeper remains at the desk watching the clock.
Posted standard
What the office will hold you to
- Accepted timed commitments continue until their recorded completion even when the Keeper is away from the page or device.
- Journey is exclusive: outstanding recorded work and Bond commitments must be settled or cancelled before departure, and new work or Bond commitments cannot begin while the Keeper is in transit.
- Vocation and Bond commitments may run together when their individual requirements allow it.
- Completion settles at the recorded end time and the result remains available in the Keeper’s private event record.
- Cancellation forfeits the unfinished reward and follows whatever fee, refund, standing, or other consequence was disclosed before the commitment began.
- Gleam does not shorten a posted duration or open an additional commitment channel.
Why travel is different
A Keeper in transit is treated as being on the route, not simultaneously present at the origin and destination. Wayhouses therefore require other recorded commitments to be settled before departure.
The posted consequence matters
An institution may charge a cancellation fee, return part of a fare, or alter standing only when that consequence was made visible before the Keeper committed. Hidden cancellation penalties are not a valid public posting.
