Species description
Bellhorn are sure-footed mountain fenborn with hollow horn chambers that resonate during head shakes and low calls. Herds use different tones to stay coordinated across fog, snowfall, and broken terrain.
Field note
Experienced rescue crews can distinguish alarm, contact, and movement calls by rhythm alone. Smugglers sometimes drill harvested horns into instruments, making naturally shed horn material difficult to distinguish from poached stock.
