Slag Below is not one cavern. It is collapsed service corridors, furnace foundations, slag cuts, sealed company rooms, and passages reopened by people with reasons to ignore closure notices.
Underground facts
Some walls stay warm without an active furnace nearby. Old warning plates become shelves. Maps age badly enough that route knowledge itself can be sold.
Mixed use
Contraband may sit beside legitimate spare parts, and hazardous salvage may be carried by people who would never call themselves smugglers.
