Fens now lives at playfens.com. The new domain is the permanent public entrance to the game and the place where future world records, development notes, creature guides, and playable systems will collect.
What Fens is
Fens is a persistent browser MMO about living creatures and the people, settlements, markets, routes, institutions, and conflicts around them. Keepers can bond with creatures, travel, work, trade, battle, and build a record in a world that keeps moving between visits.
You do not have to make an account to look around
The public side of Fens includes the Living Codex, creature records, and basin material. Those pages are meant to stand on their own as a readable archive of the world, while an account opens the stateful game systems behind them.
What comes next
This journal will stay small and useful: meaningful system changes, creature and region spotlights, launch notes, and explanations of why parts of Fens work the way they do. The goal is to make development visible without turning the site into a stream of filler updates.
