The Radiant Scar
A shifting Starfall Crown zone where Solar, Plasma, Crystal, and Gravity phenomena repeatedly alter routes and exposed material.
The Scar is mapped by interval rather than treated as permanent terrain. A route can be honestly surveyed and later become useless.
Field discipline
Markers carry dates, temporary shelters are dismantled aggressively, and instruments are checked in pairs because single readings have embarrassed too many confident expeditions.
Change
New fractures cut fused surfaces while older ones close or become inaccessible. The place rewards records that admit when they expired.
