Mirecross Collegium
The basin’s broad introductory school for standardized Keeper education, civic qualifications, Current literacy, and cross-regional practice.
The Collegium fills an old administrative quadrangle with lecture rooms, workshops, laboratories, and public reference halls. Much of what it teaches is useful precisely because it is not glamorous.
Standard and local
Shared certificates let strangers trust a common baseline. Local practitioners still object when generations of working knowledge seem to become legitimate only after Mirecross gives them a formal name.
On campus
Slate boards keep ghost marks from old lessons, instruments travel on stern little sign-out cards, and the canteen’s strongest accomplishment is tea.
