Hollow Mile
An abandoned Lumaweald extraction road now used by residents, rescuers, smugglers, collectors, and people avoiding official tolls.
The road is longer than a mile and partly drowned. Its name survives from an old hollow-log marker that outlasted the company route around it.
Old road
Company numbers remain beneath moss, culverts serve as shelters or caches, and both wardens and smugglers know which bridges cannot hold a loaded cart.
Contested use
The road is dangerous because of mud, unstable cuts, territorial creatures, and human traffic. It does not need a curse to create trouble.
